Things to consider when setting up your E-shop
Alot of factors come in to play when creating an ecommerce(e-shop) website. The type of shopping cart system depends on alot of variations like how many products do you plan to sell? what sort of features do you need to sell your products? and how do you plan to maintain your e-shop? among other factors.
The choices can be very overwhelming and take alot of time to research only to leave you feeling like you've gone round in circles.
Often people choose a cart or system that they think is right for them only to find after weeks of frustration that it's completely wrong or just too hard to manage.
That's where PinkInk step in. We like to match the right system to the right business and save you alot of hair pulling. We offer you choices of shopping cart systems that you can test out and play with before making your decision.
Or if you prefer we can make the decision for you based on your requirements.
Getting payed
To take payments from your customers you will need a business bank account or a merchant bank account with your bank and a 3rd party gatway service like Paypal.
Most small businesses starting out tend to use a standard bank account and a 3 party payment gateway like Paypal or Paymate to start with but it's a great idea to look around and ask your bank what their fees are for a Merchant Bank account.
Here is a list of payment gateway's that you might consider using.
Budget
If you've shopped around you might have noticed that opening an e-shop can be a very expensive endeavor, as a small business owner myself I know that your budget is tight, you want to make every cent count so I have made it my top priority to create the best value for money e-commerce packages around.
Expenses
Depending on the e-commerce package you require there are some expenses you will need to factor in to when setting up your e-shop.
